“Can you tell me, will a sugar free lifestyle work for me and help me lose weight? I’m taking medication for high blood pressure, cholesterol, heart palpitations and stomach problems. Why should I consider a sugar free lifestyle?”
Yes, a sugar free lifestyle will work for you, and you will lose weight. However, you might want to find a Biaratric doctor to help you begin your sugar free program. A Biaratric physician could advise you on the appropriate foods you should eat. He will give you a plan to follow that will keep you on track, and he will have several follow up sessions to monitor your progress and medications. I know because I take all the above meds. However, before you begin any program of diet or exercise, be sure to contact your physician.
As my weight drops and my sugar content decreases, I have been able to cut back on my blood pressure meds. I’m not suggesting you do this without a physician’s advice. However, before I cut out my meds for high blood pressure or cholesterol, I will definitely contact my heart specialist about any decision I make.
The sugar free lifestyle will work for you, too. You will lose weight! You will feel better, younger! You will have better health, and you may get off of or reduce some of your meds. Some people on a sugar free program have been able to get off diabetes meds with their doctor’s approval. Some people who adhere to a sugar free lifestyle have been able to get rid of their blood pressure meds completely.
For the sugar free lifestyle to work for you, you will need to make a quality decision to go sugar free! You will need to cut your caloric intake and make quality food choices, too. If you are a woman, you can eat: 1000 to 1200 calories per day, and men, 1500 to 1600 calories per day. You will be hard pressed to eat more calories than the above and remain within the tsp of sugar limits. This is recommended to help you lose weight, protect your heart and help you begin to develop the younger, healthier body you deserve and want.
Will a lifestyle, sugar free, work for you, too? The answer is a definite “YES!” If you will make a quality decision to eat only 10 to 15 teaspoons of sugar per day, you will see major changes in your body. You must cut your caloric intake, as well. You will start to feel better within a few days of beginning the program. You can see results in lost inches and pounds within a week. The sugar cravings and the hunger attacks will decrease after two to three weeks, and you will continue to lose weight naturally, easily and with regularity. As always, eat healthy, my friends!
